Plug-in stopped working in the new X-Plane upgrade

Posted on March 5, 2013 18:11 by malmeida

Not sure what happened but the plugin file for Mac in either the 32bit or 64bit version is no longer recognized in X-Plane 10 after I did the upgrade this weekend.

Hum, probably Laminar Research changed something in this last version.

Try grabbing the latest plugin from air.ipobjects.com/downloads and installing only the two required files for your platform individually on the resources/plugins folder.

Otherwise please let me know if the problem persists and I'll look into it,

thanks,

I upgraded to xplane 10.2 .... Yesterday... also Upgraded ram to 12GB so I could run xplane in 64 bit mode but Airtrack doesn't work now... Are you issuing a fix to run in 64 mode ??

Hi,

Yeap, it's already there.

You will need to grab the latest plugin from http://air.ipobjects.com/downloads and copy the the corresponding x64.xpl file to your resources/plugins directory.

Launch X-Plane and you should now have AirTrack with X-Plane 64.

If you have an older version of the plugin for 32 bits you may want to replace it with the new one too so that you can run X-Plane in both 32 and 64 bit modes.

enjoy the app,
