Plug-in stopped working in the new X-Plane upgrade

Posted on March 5, 2013 18:11 by malmeida

Not sure what happened but the plugin file for Mac in either the 32bit or 64bit version is no longer recognized in X-Plane 10 after I did the upgrade this weekend.

Hum, probably Laminar Research changed something in this last version.

Try grabbing the latest plugin from and installing only the two required files for your platform individually on the resources/plugins folder.

Otherwise please let me know if the problem persists and I'll look into it,

I upgraded to xplane 10.2 .... Yesterday... also Upgraded ram to 12GB so I could run xplane in 64 bit mode but Airtrack doesn't work now... Are you issuing a fix to run in 64 mode ??

Yeap, it's already there.

You will need to grab the latest plugin from and copy the the corresponding x64.xpl file to your resources/plugins directory.

Launch X-Plane and you should now have AirTrack with X-Plane 64.

If you have an older version of the plugin for 32 bits you may want to replace it with the new one too so that you can run X-Plane in both 32 and 64 bit modes.

enjoy the app,
