Multiple Airtrack instances to X-Plane

Posted on November 6, 2013 05:23 by LuisAlicea

Is there any way to allow multiple IP addresses (or multicast) to be configured in the plugin? I have two iPad's that I would like to use with my SIM.

Thanks,
Luis

The default mode is based on multicast and allows you to have as many iPads and iPhones connected to X-Plane as you want.

To be in this mode make sure you have the word "AUTO" in the IP address in the plugin settings Menu entry.

You should then see X-Plane on X.X.X.X on all your devices.

Pre-conditions for this mode are: Your iPads and X-Plane must be on the same network segment which should also be the segment they connect to the Internet. Your router must support multicast.

This is the default and most common setup.

If you have any problems let me know,

Thanks for setting me straight, don't know why I had an IP address in there. It works now (Obviously) :)
